One evening at Al Quaa is magic — a whole night is unforgettable. The 2-day camping tour lets you stay out under the darkest sky in the UAE, so you can watch the Milky Way move across the sky, sleep in the desert and wake to sunrise over the dunes.
We set up a proper camp with tents, bedding, a bonfire and clean facilities. Dinner is a fresh BBQ; there's a full guided telescope session after dark and time for serious astrophotography. In the morning, coffee and breakfast as the dunes turn gold. It's the definitive Al Quaa camping and Abu Dhabi desert camping experience.

Is Al Quaa camping cold at night?
Desert nights can be cold, especially in winter, so bring warm layers and a jacket. The bonfire, hot drinks and bedding keep you comfortable, and clear cold nights are perfect for stargazing.
When is the best time for overnight camping at Al Quaa?
October to April offers the most comfortable temperatures for overnight camping, while the Milky Way core is brightest from April to September. Book around the new moon for the darkest skies.
